Abstract: This study deals with the encyclopedia text Eshkol hak—kofer written by the late twelfth century Karaite Judah Hadassi. This book includes a thorough compilation of Karaite halakhah, together with its ratlonale, the polemic that accompanied the development of these laws, Karaitic and legal methodology, and also their views of Rabbinite Oral Law.
