As a Yeshiva alumnus myself, having arrived in Washington Heights far from my home in Los Angeles, I know the importance of creating an atmosphere on campus that is lively, thriving, and takes into account the needs of each individual student. I am delighted to share with you our Undergraduate Torah Studies Programming Year in Review for 5783/2023. In addition to our weekly on campus Shabbos program, many of our Rebbeim regularly host students in their homes for shiur shabbatonim, thereby creating eternal bonds and friendships between fellow talmidim while forging Rebbe-Talmid relationships. Working with our student leaders, we provide festive Chanukah and Purim Chagigas and other holiday related programing, as well as a robust offering of programs for our growing Sephardic population. Further, last year we had our first annual Camp Shabbaton in beautiful Monticello, NY and our first JSS winter trip to Israel, for students who did not spend a gap year studying in Israel. Our Yeshiva remains open during the January break for “Yeshivat Bein-Hasemesterim” and we continue through June Zman––providing our talmidim the opportunity to have full days of learning and additional extra-curricular programming when the college is not in session. I invite you to experience Yeshiva through this brochure and to join us in supporting these wonderful programs. With Torah Blessings, Rabbi Yosef Kalinsky Dean, Undergraduate Torah Studies – Yeshiva University
