    As in all my work, the approach is literary-theological, and we will use the entire history of Jewish Bible study, from the Second Temple period down to today. We will also exploit whatever insight can be gained from our knowledge of Western culture. Writing: Some short written assignments as needed or desired. Please come to class with יחזקאל מקראות גדולות and Biblical text as needed. Please note that the classroom work is analytic and requires your engagement. When cameras are off in online classes, I will assume you are not there. The following is a tentative list of commentators and other literature you should be familiar with. Traditional Jewish sources include those in Mikraot Gedolot, Abarbanel, Malbim, 2.000 TO 3.000 Credit hours
