Goals
This course is designed to introduce students to a variety of increasingly complex Hebrew texts and advance their skills in Hebrew reading, in literal and grammatical analysis of Hebrew textual data, in understanding the role of context in textual comprehension as well as vocabulary acquisition, and in producing grammatically well-formed oral and written expression in Hebrew.
Course Structured
The course is divided into 6-8 study units. Throughout the units we will “travel” to cities in ישראל ארץ
and get to know life, sights, interesting people and more. All course materials are designed for self-study within a given time frame in accordance with the course schedule You’ll have to study the requested portion of a unit, submit an assignment if asked, and come prepared for live discussions and/or a proctored assessment
