Abstract
The purpose of this course is to explore social studies concepts, skills, pedagogy, & technology appropriate for early childhood and elementary classrooms. Content from the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS), NYS K-12 Social Studies Framework, and the New York City K-8 Scope and Sequence are integrated throughout the coursework.
