Topics covered in this course include descriptive techniques, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, correlation, regression, chi-square test, and non-parametric analyses. en_US Reading comprehension of scientific articles will also be discussed. STUDENT LEARNING OBJECTIVES: During this course of study, students will be able to: A. Explain the role of various statistical models as well as conduct and interpret inferential and descriptive statistics. B. Plan and design analyses, formulate Null- and Alternative hypotheses and appropriately test these using statistical software C. Read and interpret statistical analyses found in scientific articles D.
