Abstract
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1. Identify the anatomical, neurological, cognitive, and emotional underpinnings of
articulation, phonological, and fluency disorders
2. Record speech and language samples using the International Phonetic Alphabet and/or
%SS (Percent Stuttered Syllables) count to diagnose speech and fluency disorders
3. Describe various intervention approaches to articulation, phonological, and fluency
disorders
