dc.description.abstract | Course Description: An Introduction to the Chassidic movement and its primary Torah ideas.
Student Learning Objectives: The student will critically examine the historical background, basic concepts, and key terms of Chassidic thought. The students will learn how to successfully identify Chassidic styles of Torah thought, decode Chassidic literature, and critically assess Chassidic philosophy.
