Abstract

The Fish Center and Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center with an outstanding opportunity to listen to a live, first hand account of what is happening in the Ukraine today, the history and current situation at the Babyn Yar Memorial and its future. The broadcast will be with Mr. Ruslan Kavatsiuk, Deputy General Director, and Mr. Natan Sharansky, Chair of the Board speaking about the Memorial with moderators Dr. Shay Pilnik, Director of the Fish Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Yeshiva University, Mark Weitzman, Chief Operating Officer for the World Jewish Restitution Organization, and Kelley Szany, VP of Education & Exhibitions for Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center.
