dc.description.abstract | Course Goal
The students will develop comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the halakhot that apply to a couple when the woman is a niddah, the process of taharah from the state of niddah (except the rules of chatzitzah, which will not be covered in detail), and the hilkhot niddah uniquely relevant to the wedding and beginning of marriage.
Requirements
Students are expected to attend and learn diligently during afternoon seder, attend all shiurim, and complete all assessments in a timely fashion, as per GPATS’s rules.¶
Each day, students will be provided with a detailed list of primary sources to study, covering two-thousand-plus years of literature on the relevant topics. They are expected to come to class having learned the material carefully with their chavrutot (= study partners). The following pages include a more detailed list of the topics that will be covered, and a list of the books that will be most commonly used. | en_US |
