Abstract

"Vilna Discovery: Lost Jewish Documents": Reference Workshop of the Association of Jewish Libraries-New York Metropolitan Area (AJL-NYMA) chapter, held Jan. 8, 2018, covered the discovery of over 170,000 pages of Jewish materials believed destroyed during the Holocaust and the subject of speaker Dr. David Fishman's recently published <i>THE BOOK SMUGGLERS: PARTISANS, POETS, AND THE RACE TO SAVE JEWISH TREASURES FROM THE NAZIS.
