The research that was conducted was a quantitative analysis. Participants consisted of 223 college students from a local university. Participants were asked to complete an electronic survey that included: (1) a questionnaire of personal characteristics and demographic information; (2) Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale (MPS) (3) Beck Depression Inventory II (BDI II). The data was analyzed using SPSS. The data indicated that higher perfectionism scores are associated with higher depression scores at a statistically significant level, r(223) = .18, p<.01.
