dc.description.abstractCourse Description: Behavioral Neuroendocrinology is an advanced psychology course that examines hormonal effects on the brain and behavior. This course investigates the role of hormones in sex differences, parental behavior, learning and memory, and affective disorders. By the end of the course students should understand the relationship between hormones, the brain, and behavior. Objectives: • _Students will demonstrate an understanding of key concepts relating to neuroendocrinology. • _Students will demonstrate knowledge of how the hormones and the brain orchestrate behavior. • _Students will demonstrate knowledge of pathological states and disorders that result from abnormalities in hormone and brain function.en_US
