dc.description.abstractCourse Description This course is an introduction to the major theories of personality, structure and dynamics of normal and abnormal personality development, research methods used to test these theories and clinical diagnostic tests and procedures. Other topics may be added or topics adjusted at the instructor’s discretion. Course will include lectures, term paper and brief assignments/activities at the instructor’s discretion. Students are responsible for material from lectures and readings. ___Learning Objectives: • Describe and differentiate among the major psychological approaches towards personality development • Define and apply core personality concepts, terms and theories • Understand research methodology in personality research • Learn about personality assessment and clinical applicationsen_US
