Abstract
In this course, you will learn to design, conduct, and analyze research in psychology. You will also learn to read and write scientific research articles. By completing these activities, you will develop a deep understanding of how scientific reasoning is used to inform psychological questions. You will also develop a firm grasp of the research methods available to psychologists, how those methods are applied in empirical settings, and how statistics can be used to make sense of data. In the lab portion of this course, you will complete hands-on activities to support the concepts you have learned in lecture.
