dc.description.abstract | To learn in detail the characteristics of specific drug classes and the clinical applications of specific drugs within each class. Basic physiology and pathophysiology will serve as the background for discussions. Discussions will often originate by focusing on a specific disease leading into the pharmacologic basis for drug therapy. Criteria for drug selection will, at times, be presented. Important adverse effects will be highlighted, as well. | en_US |
