We begin the course with a discussion of the Gas Laws and deviations from ideal behavior. The bulk of the course then deals with the Laws of Thermodynamics and application of these laws to chemical and phase equilibrium. Finally we introduce the field of statistical thermodynamics which connects the microscopic and macroscopic descriptions of matter.en_US
