dc.description.abstract | Shoulder injuries are among the most common injuries in athletes and people who are physically active. Patients with shoulder injuries get concerned that they will require surgery and that they will need to modify their future activities as a result of their injury. However, there are numerous non-surgical alternatives to surgery that help patients recover from their injuries and even return to full strength and activity level without the stress and potential complications of undergoing surgery. This paper serves to compile the details of my research on these non-surgical treatments for shoulder injuries and determine whether these are generally considered viable alternatives to surgery. | en_US |
