The enormity of the role of literacy in academic success and religious connection requires educators to ensure that each student is best prepared in the area of literacy, and, in the Orthodox Jewish community, Hebrew literacy. Understanding the perspective of a student can help an educator figure out the best way to help a student succeed, and it is thus important for educators to recognize the experience of the educational process for students struggling with reading. The literature discussed above explains, in part, the underlying causes of student misbehavior and communal disconnection as it connects to literacy. With this knowledge, educators will be able to enter the field more informed and therefore more equipped to help their students succeed. (From Conclusion)en_US
