Abstract: | The study examined social workers and their practice of telepsychotherapy. One hundred fifty-nine participants responded to a survey to determine the gaps in online therapy, the limitations of telepsychotherapy, the application of practice guidelines, the telepsychotherapy models, and technology modalities essential in its implementation. A set of the hypothesis was used in furthering the research. The survey conducted on the target population focused on demographic variables like age, gender, and race. The study results implore social workers to be ethical in their practice, attain more knowledge, and maintain client confidentiality. The research is, however, limited because of the COVID-19 pandemic and participants in the North-Eastern region. Further research is vital to grasp the content thoroughly. |
