Abstract: This class is an introduction to the basic fundamentals of design and color. Design is the organization or arrangement of elements to form a visual pattern. This course will focus on the process of visual thinking and problem solving to ultimately create an aesthetic solution to design and color issues. Students will gain a basic understanding of color theory, value, hue and chroma. These solutions are important foundations for all the visual arts courses.
