dc.description.abstract1. Course Description: This course should serve as a guide through many of the laws of Niddah and related topics. Halacha, as it will be presented, will be traced from its point of origin to modern poskim. However, this class is NOT a course in psak. As such, you will still need to consult your local posek regarding psak issues. This course should equip you with the skills to ask informed questions of your rav. An additional reason that this class is not a final source for practical halacha is that, because of time considerations, we will not be covering every topic in Hilchot Niddah. 2. Course Goals: For the student to be informed of the laws of Niddah, gain appreciation for the development of these laws, and understand how these laws manifest themselves in practice.en_US
