Abstract: The purpose of this course is to introduce students to foundational concepts and skills of classroom management and instruction. Topics include: Setting up your first classroom, designing lessons and assessments, enhancing student motivation, addressing the needs of diverse learners, fostering school community partnerships, and practicing research based strategies for increasing student achievement in both live and virtual teaching environments.
