Abstract: Laboratory objectives: • To learn the basic language and methods of cell biology including pipetting techniques, dilutions, electrophoresis, protein assays, microscopy, western blot analysis, ELISA assay, dot blot and tissue printing and tissue culture • To formulate and test a hypothesis and to analyze the obtained results • To be able to communicate scientific information both orally and in writing • To gain practical, hands-on experience with the theoretical concepts discussed in lecture
