Abstract: | Welcome to Kinesiology! The goal of this course is to provide students with an in-depth understanding of human motion. We will primarily explore the three major components of kinesiology: musculoskeletal anatomy, neuromuscular physiology, and biomechanics. We will also analyze and discuss how and why these systems integrate to facilitate human movement. Finally, this course will cover certain advanced concepts, including the mechanics of exercise, gait, running, and other functional movements. |
