Abstract: Winter Conference of the Association of Jewish Libraries-New York Metropolitan Area (AJL-NYMA) chapter, held Feb. 24, 2016, showcased the renovations at The Jewish Theological Seminary of America and paid tribute to Pearl Berger, retired Dean of Libraries, Yeshiva University. In addition, there were two lectures: "Hillel--Not Shammai: Learning LinkedIn on One Foot in only a Half Hour," which emphasized the mastery of this social media platform for seeking employment and forging professional connections; and "Sefaria: A Living Library of Jewish Texts Online," which covered the digital initiative launched in 2013 to create an infrastructure for the future of Jewish study and conversation.
