Abstract: Dear YU Community, Welcome back to YU! We’re kicking off the fall semester with a new issue of the View from YU where you’ll read about some of the many rewarding activities our students, faculty and alumni have engaged in over the past few months. YU has been traveling the globe. From interning at tech startups in Tel Aviv to conducting scientific research at Israel’s Bar-Ilan University to touring clinics, hospitals and schools in Central America, our students have offered their very best to all the communities they’ve visited in a summer filled with learning, engagement and chesed. Closer to home, you’ll learn about the expansion of Wilf Campus’ Sephardic Beit Midrash, get details on Revel Graduate School’s unique master’s program and become acquainted with Wurzweiler’s newly appointed dean, Dr. Randy Magen. As you’ll read in the stories ahead, a lot has happened and continues to happen at YU. Welcome back to the start of an exciting new academic year! Rabbi Dr. Ari Berman President, Yeshiva University
