Abstract: | In this issue of the Career Strategist, Associate Director Jim MacWhorter shares information about our CAPS Communities. You will discover the advantages of joining multiple communities, a strategy we encourage until you have an offer in hand. Much like how we advise students to have two versions of their résumé, your experiences and interests may align more closely with one industry than another. While it’s true that accounting students who want to sit for the CPA exam must major in accounting, few other career paths require such a linear trajectory, except perhaps pre-med or computer science. |
