Abstract: | There are moments in time when history invites you to participate in its unfolding. Tuesday’s "March for Israel" rally in Washington marked one such moment. ___With over 300,000 participants, our collective presence mirrored the number of reservists called up in Israel, symbolically underscoring the vital role we each play in standing for Am Yisrael and Medinat Yisrael. ___Our Yeshiva University community was a driving force in the rally’s great success. With the largest number of students present at the rally, the rally organizers have expressed their thanks for our presence and for leading the charge, crediting our immediate canceling of all of our undergraduate and high school classes as the inspiration which paved the way for others to follow. |
