Abstract: ABOUT THE PLAY: In modern-day Egypt, a group of American archaeology students, led by teacher David Lambert, are thrown inside an Egyptian temple by an earthquake. Not long after the students miraculously survive the earthquake, David Lambert faces a highly unusual visitor - - Death, wishing to take on human form in his pursuit of the human experience. Hiding behind the guise of Paul Sirki, Death begins his 24-hour search for the one person who could bring understanding to his mortal existence and teach him the meaning of life.
